Power is a funny thing.
Often, we think power is a strong force or big energy. But sometimes, the most subtle experience of power can transform our own lives or the lives of others. And we do not see it or experience it as such.
Power for some is exuded from their aura, and they do not even have to do anything, because they are built that way in their energy system. And maybe, they are not even conscious of the power they hold. Usually, this power is meant and used for their higher purpose.
For others, they have to "force" their ego will on others to exert power, only to come across as fake, or they may be deemed as ego-maniacs. Or they are simply having a temper tantrum, especially for those who are still run by their inner child consciousness. And it is usually those who are not built with the natural power force in their energy field who are most power-hungry. And in turn, they will burn out because they are not able to sustain the force of will.
The reality is people who have an inbuilt sustainable power built in their will centre are a minority.
So how do the rest of the world use or work with power?
Since not everyone is made to use their will centre to "power" over large groups of people, then the most natural way for most to use their will/power is truly over themselves. It is about personal power, self-leadership and being committed to self as a way to express one's life purpose.
Through self-leadership, one then opens a channel to serve in their life's purpose and expression to make a positive impact in the world. Social media has made this so much easier and accessible.
However, self-leadership and personal power are challenging to maintain and discern simply because we have not been taught or we did not grow up with good role models of these qualities.
For most of us, we learn personal power and self-leadership only upon reaching adulthood, provided our ego hasn't stepped in to sabotage the process and get in the way.
So how do we practice self-leadership and personal power? Here are some tips:
I hope the above tips give you something to think about, or maybe start with, especially if the concept of personal power and self-leadership is new to you as part of your lifestyle.
